PDX Pop Now! Music Festival 2004

Volunteer Positions

PDX POP Now! needs qualified volunteers to help with the 2004 festival to be held at the Meow Meow, July 9-11. Positions are non-paid but offer the experience of being involved with some of Portland's best bands. Below are brief descriptions of the positions we have open. You can apply for a position by sending an email to logistics@pdxpopnow.com. Please include your full name, email address, and phone number. Please put the position you wish to work as the subject of your email.

Stage Manager:

Work hand in hand with our Staff Engineers. Assist in mic placement and stage setup. Gain experience working with a variety of equipment and a variety of musical styles. If your interests lean towards the technical side of live musical performances then we may have a position for you.

Band Guides:

Meet and greet some of Portland's best musical artists! As a Band Guide you will directly interact with various artists from load-in to load-out. Your friendly face and calm demeanor will assist the Event Staff in keeping artist to our tight schedule while ensuring the event is an enjoyable experience for the artist.

Venue Staff:

Do you want to participate but are looking for a smaller commitment? Drop us line, we have many positions available. Door help to parking patrol, information booth to vending booth, there are many ways you can join in.

Street Team:

The PDX-POP Now! Staff can use your help to get the word out. If you would like to help, drop us a line and we will send you information on how you can help us get the word out about the awesome event.

We are very excited about this festival and all the wonderful artists who have agreed to play or donate a track to our compilation CD. We hope you will consider donating some of your time in celebration of Portland's incredible music scene.
