Yacht
So there was this song playing so loud on this boat party for the
summer solstice, or "Santk Hans," and the melody was something like
"Da-da-da, da-da-da-da" Oh wow.. that doesn't really translate to text.
The power on the boat kept turning off and the record kept starting and
stopping. Anyway, the song was really crazy and it was a kind of music
that I'd never heard before. Maybe it was from Thailand? It was sort of
disco-y, almost even techo-y, but the fidelity of the recording seemed
to predate both of those genres. I want YACHT to sound like that.
