Tea for Julie's music has been described as "bold and emotive indiepop". There are
moments of sonic grandeur and others of quiet sentimentality all wrapped up within well
crafted pop songs. They defy categorization but recall a lot of dsitinctive moods and influences.
They have drawn comparison to vintage U2, The Smiths, Jeff Buckley and the Afghan Whigs amongst many others.
