One Day Until PDX Pop Now! 2008
02:02AM on Thursday July 24, 2008
One day and it’s showtime! Needless to say, smiles are getting wider at PPN! headquarters, and our pulses are quickening…
A few notes:
1) If you are interested in volunteering for the festival and haven’t been in touch yet, come out to the last volunteer orientation meeting:
Thursday, July 24
5pm
Backspace (115 NW 5th Ave.)
Email volunteer@pdxpopnow.com with any questions
2) Looks like we’re not the only ones psyched about this year’s festival lineup. Check out some of the recent press encouragement:
Local Cut
MTV
The Oregonian
Portland Mercury
Spin
The Vanguard
Willamette Week
Willamette Week pt. 2
3) Thanks to our radio partners at KPSU and PRA , every moment of music at the festival will be broadcast as a stream, and downloadable as a podcast (if all goes according to plan). That way, if ,for some ridiculous reason like having to work, you have to leave the festival, you won’t have to miss it completely. The links for those features are:

See you on Friday at Rotture (315 SE 3rd) at 6pm!
